Way back when I first started to play the guitar, I also was building and programming computers. Eventually, it became clear to me that being a guitarist was not as lucrative as being a computer guru. Years of school and a career in software later, I turned my fascination of guitar into the focal point for all of the technical skills I acquired during that time. For every tiny example here, I have written thousands of lines of code. I have no idea what has happened to most of that code since I never owned the computers they were written on, nor the projects which they were written for. I freely admit that most of this stuff here is outdated. I also remember that most of these were written at a time when I was learning about something novel, whether it was a new language, exploring object-oriented architecture, or just whipping out a quick spreadsheet to solve the problem I was facing at the moment. You would be surprised how far I pushed Excel to do things in my career. From reverse engineering executables into source code, to generating source code based on spec sheets or some other high-level input. Excel was never meant to do that, but, in my defense, it has built in Visual Basic support. FREEWARE: I wrote these a long time ago. Feel free to use them as you see fit. I don't have the source code anymore. (And if you are paying attention, yes I copied this section directly from the Audio/Video page)

FINDING SOURCE CODE: Still looking... I wrote most of those programs 20 years ago. If there is any source code, it is probably on a thumb drive or an old CD, possibly on an old infected hard drive. At this point, it would be better to decompile or just rewrite it all. If you do manage to decompile it, I would love to see what you come up with. |
